David Webb

David was born and brought up in Anfield, Liverpool. It was a great place to live,
especially as a teenager in the 1960’s when The Beatles dominated the music
scene! He still loves to visit Liverpool and he gets back there whenever he can.
He is married with two children and he now lives in Bury, Lancashire. He worked
for many years as a Primary School Head Teacher but he now writes full time.
His hobbies include sport (he supports Everton F.C. even though he was born in
Anfield!), reading, travel and, of course, WRITING! David can’t stop writing! He
started writing seriously back in 1985 and his first book, Sparky’s Return, was
published two years later, firstly in hardback and then later as a paperback.
More
than thirty books have been published to date – a mixture of mystery and
adventure stories all with lively characterisation and a liberal dose of humour! As
soon as David finishes one book he’s immediately ready to start the next! One of
the most satisfying things about his role as a children’s author is being able to
visit schools throughout the UK and abroad and share his ideas with teachers
and children. VP are really looking forward to publishing David’s ‘THE PIRATE’S
PANTS’ in 2023.
