Becky Halton

Becky Halton is a Registered Early Childhood Educator and Children’s Book Author from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She is the second of three children born to David and Jackie Halton. Becky lived in Ancaster, Ontario, until the age of 7, when her family moved to Ottawa. In school and in her extracurricular activities, she loved the arts. Growing up, she was a competitive dancer and she played the flute for several years in school. Becky has always been an avid reader and writer. She attended Carleton University where she received a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Psychology. She also studied at St. Lawrence College for her Diploma in Early Childhood Education. She is currently taking courses in Autism Studies through Algonquin College. Becky is happily married to her loving husband, Mike, and together they have a daughter, Lucy, who is the light of their lives.
